Living room, after (colors are a bit off in these, the floor looks almost pinkish to me but it’s really not – I took them at night). The baseboards are wood that we stained. It’s too much to explain about why, but to get those up it took the carpenter an entire day. Just on the baseboards in this room! Truly, he did well to get that done in a single day. Something about the light makes it look like the floor sags, but it doesn’t.
We just left the air conditioner rather than fill the hole in the wall, especially considering the a/c works. If you notice the vent to the bottom left, there are two of them but you can only see the second one, those are the only vents to the living room. The living room sits on a solid concrete slab, so there was no way to run ductwork underneath. So, the duct work comes from under the house under bedroom #3 and run alongside the living room on the carport. We boxed it in. My whole point is that this room stays about two degrees off from the rest of the house. If they want it cooler in just this one room, they can run the window unit.

My work based on my thoughts looking to this type houses in New York City and thinking how hard must life in this "dwellings"
Everyday with small air conditioner no sun light windows so small , etc, Children’s playing on asphalt no grass , now trees and all surrounded with fences like in concentration lager. I believe they dreaming about land where they can sing openly to the wind or escape to there at least in dreams for now .
